Antibacterial Applications of Low-Pressure Plasma on Degradation of Multidrug Resistant V. cholera

چکیده
The existence of Vibrio cholera (V. cholera) is a major health problem in many parts the world; therefore, treatments V. have always remained necessary for public safety, health, and environmental protection. In last few decades, plasma discharges proven to be novel technique sterilization against infectious bacteria such as cholera. this research, low-pressure (LPP) has been introduced degradation multidrug resistant strains with 107 CFUs (colony-forming units) were treated by plasma, without H2O2 injection into chamber, investigate report adverse effects on results demonstrated that treatment significant presence vapors inside chamber. time-course study bactericidal revealed there no regeneration or increase number colonies after treatment.

The increased incidence of Multidrug-Resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MDR-MT) requires the search for alternative antimycobacterial drugs. The main aim of this study was to evaluate the dichloromethane extract from Aristolochia brevipes (Rhizoma) and the compounds isolated from this extract against several mycobacterial strains, sensitive, resistant (monoresistant), and clinical isolates (...

In clinical cholera, a 3-day course of antibiotic complements extensive rehydration therapy by reducing stool volume, shortening the illness, and averting death. However, antibiotic therapy, which has lifesaving implications for cholera, is often hindered due to multidrug resistance in Vibrio cholerae, the cause of cholera. Crude aqueous mixture and water soluble methanol extract from leaf and ...
